Suns Up release ‘Just Because’ single

Suns Up have this week released their third single ‘Just Because’.  It follows the release of the singles ‘Stay’ and ‘Love You Back’ in 2018.

Both of these previous singles received considerable online press support, with ‘Love You Back’ also featured on Spotify’s ‘The Indie List’ (239,000 subscribers) and selected as BBC Introducing ‘Track Of The Day’ by the Surrey & Sussex team.

Once again produced by Gethin Pearson (JAWS, Kele Okereke, Personal Best), with ‘Just Because’ Suns Up further demonstrate their impeccable grasp of towering pop hooks and sparkling vocal harmonies.

“We had an idea which we kept coming back to at rehearsals,” front man Dave explains when talking about how the song came to life, “I had an opening line and a melody that I really liked, but the rest took time to get right. I’m not a very open person, but I find in my music that I am. This song turned out to be quite personal to me about someone close and I wanted the music to do justice to that.”

Live Dates:

20 March – London – The Lighthouse [Shoreditch]
