Live Review and Gallery: VNV Nation at Irving Plaza in NYC on 11/24/2018

European-based electronic project VNV Nation is currently on the Noire Tour across North America in support of their latest album, Noire. Singer/songwriter/producer Ronan Harris put together an amazing two-hour set list that delighted the impassioned crowd with a combination of new and older songs.

Harris’ talent and stage presence are undeniable. A natural front man, he commands your attention with no effort and leaves nothing to chance. The accompanying light show propelled the concert to an almost magical experience.

Throughout the night, Harris made sure the audience was enjoying themselves. From interacting with the people in the standing area to engaging the people watching from the second floor of Irving Plaza, everyone was undoubtedly having a great time.

In preparation of the encore, they brought the drums forward for a minimalistic, intense, low-lit and beautiful performance of All Our Sins. . The ambience was entrancing. I went in as an occasional VNV Nation listener and left a fan.
