Following the recent release of singles “The Rover” and “Number 10,” off of their new album Marauder (out August 24th on Matador Records), Interpol have confirmed another batch of headlining US tour dates for 2019.
To celebrate their album release, Interpol will play a free show at House of Vans Brooklyn on August 24th. This performance will serve as the closing celebration of the House of Vans Brooklyn location after eight years within the Greenpoint neighborhood. The night will be curated by Interpol, who hand-picked Gang Gang Dance and Honduras as the opening acts. The band will also create an immersive art experience at the venue by bringing the album art for Marauder, a 1970’s-era Garry Winogrand image, to life. Part of the House of Vans Brooklyn show will be livestreamed via Interpol’s Facebook and Youtube pages, beginning at 9:45pm EST.
In addition to previously announced high-profile shows at Madison Square Garden, Royal Albert Hall, and Hollywood Bowl, this new run of dates will bring Interpol’s electrifying live energy to major West Coast, Midwest, and Southern cities in winter 2019. Tickets go on-sale this Friday, August 24th at 10am local time and the full list of tour dates can be found below.
