Blue October recently brought their I Hope You’re Happy Tour to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and I think I speak for the massive crowd in attendance when I say…YES! The band played 18 songs to an incredibly enthusiastic and emotional audience. Frontman Justin Furstenfeld spoke from the heart to the crowd all night long, sharing his daily struggles and strengths. At one point before starting their hit Into The Ocean, he shared how he often struggles to get himself up and carry on with his day (like so many struggle with) but makes it happen each and every time. His story was met with cheers and shouts of, “We love you Justin!” and indeed, you could feel the love, passion, and inspiration all night long between the stage and crowd. What an incredible night and superb performance. If you are a fan, you must see these shows. If you are a casual listener, I guarantee you will find a connection in these songs.
Justin Furstenfeld recently announced an intimate run of shows at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, California. An Open Book: An Evening With Justin at Hotel Cafe, will see several spoken word and musical performances in July and August. Tickets are available now via the band’s website along with tickets for the remainder of the I Hope You’re Happy Tour.
