Greta Van Fleet Announce U.S. Headline Tour

Armed with a Top 15 single at Active Rock and Mainstream Rock radio, just named YouTube’s “Artist On The Rise” for the band’s gritty and infectious debut track “Highway Tune” (more than 400,000 plays since mid-April), and a group conviction to bring rock’n’roll back to the mainstream, red-hot breaking band Greta Van Fleet announces a three-week, U.S. headline tour starting August 15 in Columbus, Ohio.  In addition to these tour dates, the band – brothers Josh (vocals), Jake (guitars), and Sam Kiszka (bass, keyboards) and close friend Danny Wagner (drums) – will play a special Los Angeles performance (open to the public) at The Viper Room on Tuesday, July 25.  The full itinerary is below, and tickets are on sale now.  Go to gretavanfleet.com for all ticketing details.

Greta Van Fleet’s music is high-energy, sweaty, sexy rock’n’roll loaded with attitude, bravado, killer musical chops and a singer whose voice will drop your jaw.  In answer to today’s turbulent and uncertain world, Greta Van Fleet’s music is infused with the simple message of peace, love and unity.  “It’s important for all of us to personally identify with what we’re doing,” Jake says, “to have our music stand for something and affect people in a positive way.  We’d love for anyone who comes to our concerts to take that positive energy generated back out into the world and make it their own.”

On these headline dates, fans can expect to hear all four songs from Greta Van Fleet’s critically-praised debut EP Black Smoke Rising (Lava Records, April 21) as well as selections from the 25-plus additional songs already written, many already recorded.  “Each of our songs has its own gravity,” Jake adds, “and we’re really excited for people to hear the diversity of more than just the four songs that have been released.”
