Futurepunk band The Plague Release Music Video for “Danger”

Rochester-based “Futurepunk” band The Plague has released their debut music video for the single “Danger”. Released last month, the post-apocalyptic track comes from the group’s upcoming EP Hope For the F.U.T.U.R.E and has already racked up over 78K plays on Spotify. In an effort to continue their DIY approach (the band releases all their music on their own label Recover Records), the trio enlisted their longtime friend Scott Hamilton to shoot the video.

Frontman David Adam Monroe says “We got something gritty that we are pumped about and hopefully our fans enjoy seeing us play for the first time!

Monroe wrote and produced the entire song himself, which should come as no surprise as he has produced records alongside Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) and Earl Cohen (Lady Gaga, Pink, Jessica Simpson). Before getting into the production side, Monroe was in the band Third Estate, who appeared on Warped Tour from 02-06 and toured with many established acts like Story Of The Year, Yellowcard, and MCR.

Hope For The F.U.T.U.R.E will be released in the fall of 2017 on Recover Records.

Catch the band at the Buffalo, NY stop of the Vans Warped Tour on July 13th.
