Dark Star Orchestra, one of the premier Grateful Dead covers bands, is scheduled to play the greater Chicagoland area on June 24th at Riveredge Park in Aurora, IL.
This date is one of the band’s early shows on its 2017 Summer tour (see tour dates below), which covers the Midwest and East Coast. It will be the band’s first tour since the recent and unexpected passing of its long time tour manager, Matt Reynolds.
The Chicagoland area show will be a welcome primer for Deadheads looking forward to Dead & Co.’s two Wrigley Field shows a week later.
