Gallery: Bury Tomorrow at Newcastle Riverside, 17.4.17

Bury Tomorrow bring their 16-date UK/EU tour to Newcastle’s Riverside. The atmosphere is buzzing, the venue is packed front to back and the fans eagerly waiting for Bury Tomorrow to tear up the stage. The band hit their first note and instantly the crowd are off their feet, jumping, punching the air. The energy never stops, the bouncing doesn’t cease and the crowd surfers keep on coming and putting the security guards to the test. Boasting a 13-song set from old albums and new there’s something to please everyone of all ages here tonight – from the kids at the barrier to the older fans at the bar, everyone is engaged with the music, in particular frontman Dani Winter-Bates. He is full of expression and stays connected with every member of the crowd, they have his full attention and sing every word back to him. I haven’t seen such passion, excitement and adoration from a crowd of this level for a long time – Bury Tomorrow brought such an invigorating show to Riverside, I just can’t wait for them to come back.
