Today we have the pleasure of premiering the new track from Indie-Pop tastemaker, Morty Shallman. “Party All Night on Sunset” is a blissful track that will kick off your weekend in the best way possible. Infectious lyrics and a danceable beat, he brings an electro-laced sound to the masses, making him an artist to watch out for in 2017. His upcoming EP Pop Fiction, due out this Spring, will prominently put him on the map as an artist to watch.
Morty Shallman says of his new single:
“Party All Night on Sunset” is the second single from my upcoming EP Pop Fiction. It’s a rollicking Party Rock banger – a fun, slightly silly, and intentionally over-the-top homage to one of the classic over-the-top institutions in the Los Angeles Music Scene, the “World Famous” Sunset Strip. Inspired by my own experiences performing and partying at clubs like the Roxy Theatre, the Viper Room, and the now-defunct (“torched”) House of Blues, the song recounts an especially wild night on the strip, including plentiful doses of booze, sex, drugs and Rock and Roll, and punctuated by an infectious sing-a-long choruses that grabs you and doesn’t let go. This song is all about fun, and the importance of not taking oneself – especially one’s “rock star dreams” – too seriously.
