THE WRECKS Announce Summer Dates w/ All Time Low

Indie-rock act The Wrecks are excited to announce that they will be hitting the road this summer as part of “The Young Renegades Tour,” presented by Rockstar Energy Drink. The band will join All Time Low, SWMRS, Night Riots, and Waterparks on the month-long run, with tickets on sale Friday, March 3 at 10:00 am local time. A full list of tour dates can be seen below.

The band explains, “We’re so stoked that All Time Low asked us to come out with them this summer, and we’re looking forward to playing stages that size for the first time. We can’t wait to get back out on the road again, as we’ve been mostly cramped inside writing new material and working on our set for the past few months. It’s refreshing to see such a good mix of genres in the lineup, as well. We’re gonna bring it 110% every night and we’re confident the crowds will, too.”

Things have moved at a rapid pace for The Wrecks since their inception. Having only been a band for about a week, they wrote and recorded their EP on a whim, after gaining access to a recording studio in a house being watched by a friend. Three days later, with the owner’s ex-wife on her way over, the band found out they didn’t have official permission to be there. In a panic, they cleaned as best they could, loaded their three songs on a hard drive, and fled into the night with their debut EP, We Are The Wrecks.

Their single “Favorite Liar” got into the hands of Jeff Regan at SirusXM and after receiving an overwhelmingly positive response, placed on Alt Nation’s Alt 18 week after week. It’s currently being spun on a number of stations at Alternative Radio and is now at over 3 million plays on Spotify. The band has since signed to Another Century Records and toured with Nothing But Thieves, Night Riots, and The Shelters.

Heavily influenced by groups such as The Pixies, The Strokes, Weezer, and Vampire Weekend, The Wrecks pair undeniably catchy choruses with meaningful lyrics and vocals, resulting in their young and quirky signature sound.
