Forget My Silence Release Femme Fatale Video for “I See Hell in Your Eyes”

Russian metalcore quintet Forget My Silence will be releasing their long-awaited debut full-length Fall To Rise on May 5th, but have recently released a music video for the single “I See Hell in Your Eyes”. The video’s femme fatale theme was inspired by The Three Musketeers.

It’s a reference to that storyline about the relationship between two lovers, D’Artagnan and Milady de Winter,” says guitarist Elia Solonnikov. “Even after she tried to kill him and poisoned Constance Bonacieux, he tries to stop Milady’s beheading in the end of the book.

The visual attempts to mirror the lyrics as Solonnikov continues, “This song is about that feeling inside when you understand the person you’re in love with is a bad choice and dragging you into trouble and brings you nothing, but misery, but you can’t stop. It destroys you, but you are too powerless to change anything and I think almost everyone has experienced it more or less. So it’s a mystical metaphor for a common fatalistic plot with femme fatale.”

“I See Hell in Your Eyes” is available now on iTunes.

About Forget My Silence:

Forget My Silence is a post-hardcore/metalcore band from Saint-Petersburg, Russia formed in august 2011 by vocalist Roma Sadygov. Shortly after, the band released their first music video for the single “This is only the beginning,” which has since reached nearly five million views on Youtube. In November 2013, they released their debut EP Lifeline and toured around Russia, gaining a passionate following of fans before releasing the the single “Not Perfect” in 2014. The following year the band released “Virtual Privacy” (produced by Cameron Mizell) from their upcoming debut full-length Fall to Rise.

This album is a half-way stop between our early ‘metal’ stuff and more nu-metal sound we’ve dug into recently,” says guitarist Elia Solonnikov. “Simple, but powerful riffs, some harsh vocals, more soulful lyrics than Roma has ever written. If you liked Forget My Silence before, you won’t be disappointed.

Fall to Rise is set for release on 5/5/17.
