The Losers Lounge is a collective of New York City’s finest performers who have been selling out live shows every other month for over twenty years. Founded in 1993 by former Psychedelic Furs keyboardist Joe McGinty, the band continues to canonize the great songwriting catalogues of the ’60s, 70’s and ‘80’s in its own unique way. “From Abba to the Zombies” as The New York Times has said, The Losers Lounge is in the business of redemption; honoring pop stars from these eras and validating the zeal of music fans. From well known composers like Neil Diamond and David Bowie to more obscure artists like Serge Gainsbourg and Harry Nilsson, The Losers
Lounge walks the line between sincerity and irreverence to recreate the meticulous arrangements of the classic song books that you love, live. Along with a parade of up and coming singers, some past celebrity guest performers have included Richard Dreyfuss, Moby, Parker Posey, Debbie Harry, Lee Hazlewood, Paul Williams, Cyndi Lauper, John Cameron Mitchell, Fred Schneider, Joey Ramone, John Flansburg of They Might Be Giants, Ronnie Spector, Anne Magnuson, Michael Cerveris, Joan Jett, Ian Hunter, Fred Armisen, Antony, Santi Gold and many more, proving that you never know who you might see at The Losers Lounge.

The Montclair Film Festival, Inc. (MFF), a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, nurtures and showcases the talents of filmmakers from around the region and world. The MFF unites, empowers, educates and celebrates our region’s diverse cultural heritage and robust artistic community by presenting an annual spring festival and a growing assortment of engaging programs and events all year long. The sixth annual spring festival will take place from April 28 through May 7, 2017. MFF 2016 was made possible through generous support from Investors Bank, Audible, HackensackUMC Mountainside, Chubb, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, among others.
