Rosebug Launches Prominent Debut, “Worst Way”

Rosebug brings a burst of energy to the playing field, with their debut release, Worst Way, out November 11 via Dazzleships Records. Not your average band from Brooklyn, they bring harmonious tones to a Riot Grrrl-esque feel, that also brings dreamy elements to life.

The LP as a whole is strong as each piece on the record prominently and graciously stands on its own. 9-songs fill the record with heavy hitting drums, sonic-induced tones, and the remarkable vocals of frontwoman Becca Chodorkoff.

Making the rounds as of recent is their first single “I Am the One,”  which garnered them attention right from the start. The record in its entirety is bold with standout tracks such as “Hello,” and “Ordinary Girl,” as each piece leaves its mark on listeners.

Worst Way was produced by Miles B.A. Robinson at a Bed-Stuy studio called The CRC. The studio is owned by indie darlings, Chairlift, and frequented by the likes of Dev Hynes and MGMT. Rosebug’s current line-up consists of Becca Chodorkoff (vocals), Chris Nunez (guitar), Tarra Theissan (bass), and Drew Adler (drums). Heading into 2017, Rosebug are a band to be on the watch for in the New Year…and beyond.
