Pistols At Dawn debut ‘Forgone Conclusion’

London 5-piece Pistols At Dawn will release their debut album ’See You Home’ via Tres Beau Records on November 11th.   And from it you can now stream lead single ‘Foregone Conclusion’:

‘See You Home’ certainly plays with dynamics, with the band’s new-found intensity fusing the post-rock of Mogwai or Fridge, say, with a real sense of pop simplicity, and lacing it with Four Tet-style electronics. It’s an incredible listen, remarkable both for the sheer outpouring of ideas, and how natural it all feels.

“We’re not sure how conscious we were of trying to sound like anything, really,” Pistols At Dawn summarise. “It’s difficult to say, other than pleasing ourselves, basically. We’re not aiming to rule the world, we just fucking love doing this, and we think it’s a fucking good album.”
