New Jersey’s ROCK CARNIVAL Releases 3-Day Schedule & Set Times

With less than two weeks remaining until the kick-off of the second annual ROCK CARNIVAL, the official day-to-day carnival and festival schedule has been released. See below for a full schedule of all activities taking place at the ROCK CARNIVAL – September 30, October 1 and October 2 at Lakewood, NJ’s FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood Blue Claws.

This isn’t just a rock concert – the ROCK CARNIVAL promises a weekend of fun and excitement for the entire family! In addition to a music festival atmosphere featuring today’s top performing artists and local favorites, the second annual ROCK CARNIVAL will also feature classic amusement rides and carnival entertainment ($1 amusement ride tickets all weekend long!), a children’s fun zone, high-action Professional Wrestling, pig racing, the return of the “Drown The Clown” tank, local vendors, tasty brews on tap and more. Plus, due to the additional space provided by FirstEnergy Park this year, the ROCK CARNIVAL is now hosting 50+ food trucks.

The ROCK CARNIVAL welcomes new Sunday line-up additions The Apocalypse Blues Revue, featuring Godsmack‘s Shannon Larkin and Tony Rombola, as well as local mainstay and Bon Jovi touring guitarist Matt O’Ree. These artists round out the line-up currently featuring headliners Alice Cooper (Friday), Twisted Sister (Saturday, performing their official tri-state farewell performance) and Halestorm (Sunday). The show will also feature Daughtry – featuring its namesake Chris Daughtry, contestant on the fifth season of Fox’s American Idol –The Used, Clutch, Overkill, Ace Frehley, Fuel, Monster Magnet, Life Of Agony, Sebastian Bach, Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy and many more.

This year’s festivities will also include a brand new “Classic” Friday night celebration, which will feature tributes to classic rock favorites! Almost Queen will play your Queen favorites, Alive! ’75 will take us back with some KISS, and Zakk Sabbath – featuring vocalist/guitarist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, ex-Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (ex-Queens Of The Stone Age) – will perform Black Sabbath classics. Other tribute sets will include Mötley Crüe and Metallica.

Music will take place on multiple stages, including two main festival stages, side by side, on the field.  Fans will have general admission access to the stadium field. The musical portion of the event will once again feature the Birch Hill stage, a very popular performance area, with the addition of another performance area showcasing developing artists.
