Mosh for Paws Announces Benefit Show for the Montclair Animal Shelter

Non-profit organization Mosh For Paws is proud to announce the lineup for their 2016 benefit show. All proceedings will be donated to the Montclair Animal Shelter, which was severely damaged from a two-alarm blaze. Headliners Suburban Scum, Maximum Penalty, and The Banner will be hitting the stage with special guests, Friend Or Foe, Steel Nation, Laid 2 Rest, Jukai, and Threat 2 Society. Fans and supporters are encouraged to attend the ‘For The Love Of Pugs’ Meet & Greet prior to the first band’s set between 4pm and 6pm. The event will take place on Friday, September 23rd at Mexicali Live in Teaneck, NJ. Tickets are available HERE for$15 in advance and $18 at the door.

“Over the years I’ve watched Mosh For Paws grow into a larger event each year. The event started off at a little VFW hall in Northern Jersey which only 50 people attended and has turned into a 200+ head count show. Words can’t express how thankful I am with all the support. It’s only going to get better now.” says founder Kevin Oakley.

Mosh For Paws is a non-profit organization, founded in 2011 by Kevin Oakley, utilizing his involvement in the New Jersey hardcore/punk scene to raise awareness against animal cruelty. M4P created a name for itself and gained respect throughout the hardcore/punk community by enlisting the help of bands such as KDC, Old Wounds, The Banner, Suburban Scum, and Ninety Six who have performed at prior events. In the last 5 years, M4P has successfully thrown countless benefit shows to help raise money for non-kill shelters, set up pet adoptions outside of a number of events, and sold Mosh For Paws branded merchandise. All proceedings are donated to local shelters and rescues.
