The Mowgli’s: Premiere New Song “Spacin Out”, Third Album ‘Where’d Your Weekend Go?’ Due Out Sep. 30

As the indie-rock six-piece THE MOWGLI’S are in the studio putting the finishing touches on their third album WHERE’D YOUR WEEKEND GO?–due out September 30 onPhoto Finish Records–the group have teamed with Conan O’Brien’s siteTeamCoco.com to premiere a brand new song “Spacin Out” . “Spacin Out” is available on iTunes/Spotify now.

“‘Spacin Out’ is one of the songs I’m most excited about.” explains COLIN DIEDEN. “The day we wrote it I had this feeling it was going to really affect not only the audience, but us when we play it live.”

Known for their laid-back mix of sunny West Coast pop, garage rock and 60’s Laurel Canyon folk sound, THE MOWGLI’S have joined forces with producer Mike Green (All Time Low, Paramore) for the new album.

Last week, THE MOWGLI’S stopped by PEREZ HILTON’s studio in Los Angeles for a live performance of another new song, “Monster. “‘Monster’ is a song about the fear of becoming the worst version of yourself,” explains vocalist KATIE JAYNE EARL. “The song is a reminder that the qualities we see in other people are sometimes a reflection of what we see in ourselves and it’s our personal responsibility to keep our own monsters at bay.”
