Drugs Delaney Band hails from Peoria, IL, they are a vibrant, loud, alternative rock quartet. They have a solid, focused songwriting mixing melodies, heart pounding bass, thundering drums, and driving atmospheric guitars will remind you of artists, such as Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Weezer, The Killers, and Kings of Leon.
The band includes Andrew William Smith, Adam John Kelley, Dylon Sekul and Nick McNeely. It was formed in November of 2012, Drugs Delaney released the EP “One Less Thing” and started touring all over the U.S. — lighting up stages and making fans across the country that they dub “addicts. “In the spring of 2015, they entered into the studio to record their first full length album, “Black Knight Satellite” with Grammy nominated producer, Erik Nelson.
The album brings together all their life experiences, being described as “a concept of a concept album.
“Looking to take you back to a time when rock music was more than just depressing copycat sounding guitar tones and vocals, but something you experience with life hand-in-hand while it plays in the background, giving you a soundtrack to your life, “ stated Andrew Smith.
“Black Knight Satellite” will see its release July 1st 2016 via Mirage M’hal records, distributed by eOne. Followed by more touring of the U.S. In support of the album.
