TesseracT Announce U.S. Tour Dates with Gojira

U.K.’s premiere progressive act, TESSERACT today has announced a new batch of American tour dates serving as direct support for French metal act GOJIRA. Vocalist Dan Tompkins offers comment:

“We are thrilled to announce that we will be back in the U.S. and Canada throughout September and October. This will be the final tour of the ‘Polaris’ cycle and we couldn’t think of a better way to do it! This will be our first support tour in a long time and we are very excited to be touring with such a groundbreaking and unique band; it will be an honour to share the stage with them. Gojira have a great and loyal fanbase and we look forward to presenting our live show to them and of course for our own dedicated fans and friends. We will again be running our VIP meet and greets, which are always so much fun, so we hope to shake hands and chat with even more new faces this time around!”

Tesseract Tour 2016

The last time U.S fans saw the band was on the highly successful run with THE CONTORTIONIST, ERRA, and SKYHARBOR late last year. Tickets are on sale Friday, 5/6. Fans can visit the band’s official website for more info. VIP upgrades including band meet and greet options are available for all shows. For more info on that, click here.

TesseracT released  POLARIS, in September of last year via their U.K. label home Kscope and distributed / marketed by Entertainment One Music (eOne Music) in North America. The new LP is the follow up to the highly regarded Altered State LP that was released in 2013. Polaris is band’s third studio album and first for Kscope and eOne.

The latest LP was received quite well among critics. REVOLVER MAGAZINE called the album the“platonic ideal of a TesseracT album, the one where they get everything just right.” OUTBURN MAGAZINE states the band “keeps impressing with every release, going with different ideas and compositions while still keeping their identity.” METAL INJECTION went as far to say that Polaris “is best defined as a sum of the group’s polished production smoothly colliding with an offensive onslaught of vocal and instrumentation virtuosity.” A full album stream can be found below.
