Attica Riots Premier “Misery” Music Video

Canadian alt-rockers, Attica Riots (Bobby Desjarlais – vocals, Kyle Erickson – guitar, and Anders Erickson – drums) unveiled the music video for their new single “Misery” in anticipation of their full-length album release.

This track is the first single from their upcoming record, produced by the legendary Mark Needham best known for his work with alt pop giants, American Authors, Imagine Dragons and The Killers. Attica Riots’ full-length album is slated for worldwide release later this year via Five Seven Music.

Attica Riots have impressed crowds throughout North America with their high-energy live shows, rock solid musicianship and infectious alternative anthems. The band’s identity explodes on stage, and has led to performances at Canada’s most notable festivals and events including the JUNO Awards, the Toronto International Film Festival, and Jansport x Noisey’s Bonfire Sessions.

Tastemaker music publication Relix gives us a first look at new music from Attica Riots with the premiere of the music video for their new single Misery. Check it out HERE.

In the video, Attica Riots takes on a retro ‘80s vibe that includes psychedelic imagery, exceptional lighting design and some help from a troupe of skeleton dancers. It highlights the band’s performance and the production qualities of their highly anticipated forthcoming album. The song’s accessible hook is infectious and recalls a modern indie sound fused with classic rock.

The band will appear in May at Toronto’s Canadian Music Week. Keep up with Attica Riots via their website and socials for imminent tour announcements.

Attica Riots’ single Misery is available everywhere music is downloaded or streamed.
