With less than two weeks until the release of their new album, Los Angeles rock act VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE has teamed up with Revolver to unveil the music video for their new single, “Perfect Lie.” The track will be featured on the new album,‘Ritual’ due out on March 18, 2016. Directed by Orie McGinness [Oceano, Get Scared], the dark and seductive video is a perfect companion for the sexy, industrial track. Watch the music video for “Perfect Lie” here:
Vocalist Michael Orlando explains of the song, “Relationships are the devil’s way to fuck with humanity. We put our trust in others and pray they return the trust 100 fold! However, 99% of the time we are let down and lose pieces of ourselves in the process. This song represents the trials & tribulations of this ritual. My last relationship taught me trust is overrated. I lost a giant piece of myself and again the monster took over. I am better as a monster because of it.”
Serving as the follow up to 2012’s ‘Hellbound and Heartless,’ ‘Ritual’ was produced by Matt Good [From First To Last, DRUGS], and mixed by David Bendeth [Bring Me The Horizon, Paramore]. Thus far, the group has released three tracks off of ‘Ritual’ – “Ghost Inside My Head,” “Black Betty,” and a cover of Hozier’s breakout hit, “Take Me To Church” (featuring Alex Koehler of CHELSEA GRIN). Additionally, an album teaser highlighting snippets of each song on the album can be heard here. Pre-orders for ‘Ritual’ are available via iTunes, with bundles including an instant download of the unreleased track, “Demon Inside Me” on the Vampires Everywhere merch store.
In support of the new album, the band will be kick off their headlining North American run, “The Ritual Tour” this March, to be followed by a slot on the upcoming “Make America Hate Again” tour alongside Filter and Orgy. A full list of dates can be seen below.
