Show Review: From Ashes to New at Webster Hall in NYC on 02/26/2016

From Ashes to New had one hell of a performance at their album release show in one of New York City’s most renowned music venues, Webster Hall. The new album is titled Day One and their single, ‘Through It All,’ is leaving its mark in the Top 20 Mainstream Rock Songs chart from Billboard.

As soon as the band took the stage, fans of all ages were immediately engaged, gravitating closer as vocalist Chris Musser’s energetic presence captivated all those in attendance. Guitarists Lance Dowdle and Branden Kreider were unequivocally in sync with one another, and drummer Tim D’onofrio held everyone together. The audience got to  relish an intimate and moving show as From Ashes to New kept them engaged and were constantly interacting with the crowd.

Filled with gratitude, vocalist Matt Brandyberry acknowledged support from their followers as fans began reciting lyrics from the band’s entire set list, including songs off the new album without a hitch. At the end of their set, Musser went into the crowd and was embraced by fans who sang along with him until the end.

Hands down, From Ashes to New knows how to put on a great show. Make sure to catch them on their next tour.
