It’s only been about a year since FOREIGNER last rocked Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center. However this year’s show had a completely different recipe. Sunday’s sold out show was part of FOREIGNER’s acoustic tour. Kelly Hansen, who is the lead vocalist, told the crowd that they first tested out the acoustic tour in Canada before bringing it to the United States. The tour was overwhelmingly received with positive support and Morristown was no different. Fans weren’t disappointed one bit, as the band ran through a set list full of nothing but top hits. The set list included hits such as Double Vision, Dirty White Boy, Cold as Ice, and Feels Like the First Time. The list goes on and on.
Also unique to the evening was the fact that the show was recorded. FOREIGNER is among several bands that are recording every show and offering the show the same night to the fans. Fans can download the show via StereoCast, which is a free application available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. FOREIGNER is offering one free song download from each show, so fans can get a feel for how the app works. The entire show is $19.99 and available hours after the concert ends. As of right now, you can only listen to the recorded show on the application and access to audio files is not possible.
Catch FOREIGNER on their world tour, which has dates across the globe through September 2016.
