As a child growing up in Europe he listens to jazz, funk, disco, rock and electro pop. As a young man living in America he listens and dances to and then DJs Detroit techno and early British electronic music. He raves and clubs all across America, then UK and Germany. He DJs – first minimal techno and electro and then house – in New Orleans, Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, San Francisco, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Zagreb, Novi Sad and Hong Kong. He runs a multi-media project Deposition Recordings and later house label Sexxquisite. As a professor of aesthetics and audio-visual arts he teaches the first course in American academic history that deals with history and cultural theory of electronic dance music. He releases techno and house tracks on labels such as System Recordings, House of Gold Records, Eye Records and Paranoja Records. His main focus now is music production in the style of groovy and driving house and techno, and his new label – Loop Current Records. With the upcoming releases on Phunk Investigation’s Phunk Traxx and remixes for and by Phunk Investigation, the future looks mighty bright.
