THE ROCKET SUMMER Reveals North American Tour for New Album “ZOETIC”

Hot on the heels of the announcement of its sixth album ZOETIC on February 26, 2016, THE ROCKET SUMMER has revealed a North American tour to support the release of that album. As announced yesterday morning on Bandsintown and kicking off on March 11 in Houston, TX and circling the continent with NYC’s Webster Hall on March 26, the run of dates will last five weeks before returning the band back to Los Angeles’s Troubadour on April 12 (tour dates below). A limited number of VIP tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 13 at 9:00am local time at http://www.therocketsummer.com/tour. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, January 15 at 9:00am local time. Visit therocketsummer.com for tickets and details.

Included in Alternative Press’ annual  Most Anticipated coverage for 2016,Zoetic is poised to break The Rocket Summer into a broader market, saying that, “The new album taps into a realm of honesty and inspiration that… has no rules or boundaries and is unlike any other record he has ever created.”

With a sound that expands in different directions and textures evident from the first single “Same Air” which Diffuser says “evokes simultaneously evokes Foster The People and Justin Timberlake”, it moves to the infectious anthemic soar of “Help Me Out” to the rough industrial tints of “Rule of Thirds Kind Of Life” which hearkens mid-era Nine Inch Nails without losing the essence of The Rocket Summer. As Alternative Press appropriately predicts, “let’s just say it’s going to be one wild ride.”

Zoetic will be released on February 26, 2016 via Aviate Records. Preorder now on iTunes and get an instant download of“Same Air” or pre-order CD & colored vinyl at PledgeMusic.
