Night Argent Releases Video for “Cold (Carol of the Bells)” & Calls To Help the Homeless this Holiday Season

Since successfully touring the country this past summer, Washington’s alternative pop/rock band Night Argent have been working diligently behind the scenes gearing up for a big year in 2016. Today, the band has released a mind-blowing self-produced music video for “Cold (Carol of the Bells),” their intoxicating  rendition of the timeless holiday tune. With the video, the band calls on the public to share the powerful and inspiring message to help the less fortunate this cold holiday season. Night Argent has pledged to contribute their time this winter to a local homeless shelter, Tri-City Union Gospel Mission, which provides help for the homeless and impoverished. The mission also offers programs aimed to help those struggling with addiction to not only break free of addiction, but also develop skills that will lead them to maintain their independence. Here is what they had to say about the purpose behind their release of “Cold (Carol of the Bells)”:<

“When we started this project, all we wanted was to give a gift to our fans. Recording a holiday song and video, simply to show our appreciation for all of their support. But as we sat discussing it, we realized that we could, and should, do more. A recent cold snap in our local area had filled our local shelter to maximum, so we decided to focus on those most affected by the cold. So instead of just raising awareness, we’re asking everyone to join us in helping those who are in need.”  – Shane Santanna, Night Argent

Night Argent is committing to donating clothing, food, and medical supplies to local programs throughout the winter season, as well as time at their local shelter, helping any way they can. The band hopes the message behind “Cold (Carol of the Bells)” inspires their fans and more to do the same, whether it’s by giving to charity or giving to their own local programs and shelters. Fans and followers are encouraged to join the band by using the hashtag #FightTheCold to show how they give back.

“During the holidays, we become so focused on getting the things that people want, we forget about the things that people actually need. We’re not asking you to share this song, the video, or our band name. All we’re asking is for you to share the message behind it, and do what you can to help someone in need.” – Night Argent

Like their breathtaking music video for the band’s debut single “Nothing More Beautiful,” the video for “Cold (Carol of the Bells)” was produced by the band with the help of friends Justin Frick and Trevor Hollenbeck in an impressive DIY fashion. The video shows the band walking the streets of Washington removing articles of clothing and leaving them on the park bench for the needy to take in the cold winter season, calling to the cause.
