Show Review: Reckless Serenade

In an arcade at the end of a strip plaza in Nanuet, New York, Music Existence had the pleasure of witnessing the performance of New York natives, Reckless Serenade. The venue was loud and unforgiving with the noise of all the games sounding off and the commotion of its guests. That did not prevent the band from putting on a fantastic show that drew people into the stage area. Members Cory Brent on vocals, Mark Neidhardt on guitar, Matt Ruggiero drums, and Steve Zeiss on bass had high energy and exhibited a strong passion for what they do.

Right from the beginning Brent. Neidhardt, and Zeiss engaged the audience and kept their attention throughout the entire set. The guests in attendance were surprised when Reckless Serenade included in their set a cover of Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” demonstrating their musical abilities and versatility. Their closing track “Take Me Back To The Summer” left everyone wanting more but, alas the show had come to an end.

Setlist:

Overtime

Stranger Things

Kerosene

Fire

Cage Rage

Uptown Funk

Pretty Monster

Take Me Back To The Summer

The band will be on tour throughout the month of November, for more information check out:
