This week’s Femme Fatale spotlight shines on Lianna, a Korean American from New York City. Lianna has taken the courageous leap to soar in her dreams by relocating to Los Angeles, California. Lianna proudly holds the title of singer -songwriter and co-producer. The talented artist classifies her sound as Pop/R&B infused with the elements of Hip Hop.
Growing up and being exposed to a blend of cultures and sounds, Lianna began showing signs of her musical calling as early as the age of 8 years old, writing and recording her music from home. Shortly after, Lianna took to the stage in her preteens, a very delicate age where most teenagers are finding themselves and shying away from any form of criticism. Not Lianna; her confidence, band, and talent stirred up a buzz in the local scenes and she has been steadfast in her pursuit ever since.
In January 2014, Lianna began collaborating with producers and songwriters, adding studio recording artist to her professional resume. Following this accomplishment, she has successfully debuted her two singles “Fall” and “Runaway Dream” on Vevo in the 3rd quarter of 2014 reaching thousands of new fans, and the numbers continue to rise. Lianna is set to release her album, title undisclosed, on January 16, 2016. Lianna has also worked with musical professionals Caleb Middlebrooks, John Ho, Claudio Cueni, and Soul Mechanix to name a few; and has also co-written songs with songwriters, Dewain Whitmore Jr., Jimmy Burney and Samantha Nelson.
This budding star credits her musical influence, and pays her respects to Mariah Carey and the late Aaliyah who have paved the way for her dreams to be possible. Since childhood, Lianna has dreamed of becoming a star, but has always placed her education first. Its refreshing to witness that her patient dedication, and discipline to her craft has helped to open doors for her flourishing career! Its only a matter of time before we all “Fall” for Singer-Songwriter, Lianna.
