The Lost Poets – Mouth

The Lost Poets have an eerie sound. The Swedish duo of David Rosengren and Petter Ossian Strömberg fuse together grunge with blues to come up with a formidable sound that is reminiscent of bands from the mid-nineties. “Mouth,” the new single from the band is every bit a part of their previous formula, as heard on their debut EP Insubordia. Rosengren’s vocals are harsh and almost strike fear into the mind of the listener. Meanwhile, the slow yet heavy bass and drum combination by Strömberg brings out the grunge substance.

The new video for “Mouth” is slightly disturbing but seems to be an adequate representation of the track. The Lost Poets certainly have a technique of their own working for them and the results are powerful.
