The Golden Hippie Release Video for “Human Animal”

The Golden Hippie first emerged on the LA scene earlier this year with her channeling of the haunting choral styles of Florence Welch and pop sensibilities that have garnered her comparisons to Charli XCX. After years behind the scenes flexing her songwriting prowess she joined Prince as a featured vocalist on “Art Official Cage,” the lead track off Prince’s newly released album, Art Official Age.  She spent this spring joining him on his Hit and Run tour, before releasing her breakout debut track, “Smoke Signals.”

Her latest track, “Human Animal” is simultaneously mesmerizing, exhilarating, and delivers a tribal twist to the indie pop scene. Today we see the artistic vision of directors Eric Ulbrich and Kylie Eaton come to life through the official video which takes you on a Southwestern psychedelic trip featuring animalistic rituals.

She is currently putting the final touches on her full-length debut

due out in 2015.
