Islander at Webster Hall on 10/26/2014

Islander was the second band to perform. After being signed in 2013, the band has released an EP and their current album Violence & Destruction back in July of this current year. If you mixed POD and Rage against the Machine and a little old school Beastie Boys; then shook it up with an energy drink that would describe Islander’s sound to me. It was fun and had me grooving. They engaged the crowd and had them singing their single, Coconut Dracula. It didn’t matter that most of the crowd didn’t know the song, they had everyone singing along. They put on a great performance.
