Having taken them 6 years to finish and release their debut album in their native Canada, The Written Years will release the album in the UK on November 10th. An album that sounds both incredible intimate and uncomfortably isolating, the themes of affection, belonging, loss and nostalgia encompass the lyrical journey they take on the record. This is perfectly demonstrated on first taster ‘Homesick Dirge’.
