KAM WIL, “DAYGO”

San Diego rapper Kam Wil presents the music video for “Daygo”, the new single from The Great Mixtape, his mixtape featuring a guest appearance from Skipper. “Daygo” was produced by Dale THEEWHVLE, and the music video was directed by Yellow Nguyen, who also directed Schoolboy Q’s “Hoover Street” video as well as videos for Nipsey Hussle, Ab-Soul, Cali Swag District, Planet Asia, Pac DIV, Mistah FAB and more. “What I like to do with all my music is keep it as real/personal as possible, and ‘Daygo’ is as real as it gets,” Kam says. “‘Daygo is a song about some of the things I did and what I went through with my family being broke and struggling. San Diego is indeed a beautiful city in certain areas but don’t let the beauty on the outside fool you. It’s still grimy in the hood, we still have a lot of gangs, we still have a lot of crime going on, and people are still getting killed.”
