THE AMERICAN SCENE RELEASES SOPHOMORE ALBUM, ‘HAZE,’ TODAY!

Bay Area indie rock band The American Scene has released their highly-anticipated sophomore record, Haze, today via Pure Noise Records. The album is currently streaming below and is available for purchase digitally at iTunes and on limited edition vinyl LP and in a vairety of bundles at http://theamericanscene.merchnow.com/.

Since their inception in 2009, The American Scene have amassed a strong underground following of fans throughout the Bay Area and around the world with their unique style and lively performances. During that time the band’s music has continuously evolved as they explore their influences, experiences and current interests, all which have contributed to the band’s distinctly different new record.

Produced by Sam Pura (The Story So Far, Polar Bear Club, Self Defense Family), Haze is the result of years of growth and maturity, both musically and mentally. The record also finds the band settling into a style of music that they’re comfortable with and born to make. While musically disparate from previous releases, their underlying, unmistakable sound that fans have come to love remains wholly intact.

With early comparisons to bands like Minus The Bear and Foals, The American Scene is quickly becoming one of indie-rock’s most exciting buzzworthy bands. Thousands of fans will be able to attest to that at the band’s upcoming performance at Riot Fest in Chicago on September 13th.

Pick up a copy of Haze today and follow the band at https://www.facebook.com/theamericanscene for additional news and updates.
