Long Island quartet, BRAEVES have premiered a new song “Souls In Transit”.
Produced by Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, The Dear Hunter), Drifting by Design showcases BRAEVES’ knack for blending soulful indie rock and melodic pop- displaying intricately layered instrumentals, illuminating harmonies and lyrical prose that have drawn comparison to the likes of The Shins, Grizzly Bear and Fleet Foxes.

The band started with childhood friends Ryan Colt Levy (lead vocals) and Derek Tramont (bass), experimenting over the years with different styles and sounds. It wasn’t until Thomas Killian McPhillips IIV (drums), joined them in late 2012, that they began defining the sound that is uniquely and completely BRAEVES. With the recent addition of Nick LaFalce (guitar/keys), the band puts forth their most imaginative work yet.
BRAEVES will release their debut EP, “Drifting by Design” on September 9th, 2014.
