“I be sayin’ “Go, go, gimme what I want”/I swear that we so young, livin’ like we gods/I be saying, “I don’t need nobody kill my vibe when I’m high”…”
As fans continue to eat up his new album “The Road to Coachella”, Connor Evans releases “Livin’ Like We Gods” as the latest single off the project. With an insanely catchy hook, Connor looks at the youth today and how they navigate their way through the world.
The song features an intensely personal 3rd verse as Connor talks about his struggles with weight growing up and a period of time where he turned to steroids in order to leave his struggles behind. The verse moves into Connor talking about showing a friend how to obtain steroids. Said friend got so deep into the “performance enhancing drugs” that he tried to take his own life. Connor struggles with the fact that he showed the friend how to get them.
