On March 21, the Scenic Sound will be releasing ‘Like A Fire,’ the endeavour’s second studio release. The Scenic Sound is primarily the vehicle of singer-songwriter Tim Stead, though he is joined live by a touring band. ‘Like A Fire’ comes on the heels of a 130-performance tour across Canada in support of the previous album, ‘Standing Still.’
‘You & I,’ the first single from the release, was made available on February 29 in the form a lyrical music video on YouTube. A karaoke version of the video is live, too, and the single is available on iTunes right now. The full album, set to drop on March 21, will be available on all major digital distribution platforms and streaming services. (iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and the like.)
‘Like A Fire’ consists of six new tunes from The Scenic Sound, all of which reveal an inspirational and infectiously catchy landscape in which Stead muses about love, hope, and passion. “We want to create something important,” he says. “Something that people feel like singing and believing.”
