Watch My Body Sings Electric’s Impressive DIY Stop-Motion Video for “Unimpressive”

The Denver based Indie-Alternative Pop/Rock clan, My Body Sings Electric (for fans of Capital Cities, Walk The Moon, Arctic Monkeys) have teamed up with Alternative Press for the exclusive premiere of their impressive DIY stop-motion music video for their track “Unimpressive.” The track appears on My Body Sings Electric’s latest EP The Franklin Tapes: Side A, which was released on November 20, 2015. For the video, My Body Sings Electric came together in their guitarist Jeff Fedel’s garage with a production budget of only $100 and supplies from their local art store, experimenting with stop-motion as they created the mural by hand. The video makes it clear that the guys had a great time filming this video, and fans are sure to have fun watching it come together in ways that are nowhere near “Unimpressive.” Here is what the band had to say about the video:

“This was our first experience with creating stop motion video so shooting took a little longer than expected and yielded over 1,500 photos. The mural you see at the end still hangs in Jeff’s garage. We hold open tours to view the masterpiece every first and third Friday of every month as well as every other day that ends in ‘Y’, for a nominal fee. We had a great time making the video, we hope you enjoy it as well!” – My Body Sings Electric

Franklin Tapes: Side A delivers vocal similarities to Atlas Genius, the spunk of Walk The Moon, and the memorable hooks of Panic! at The Disco. The tracks will take fans on a journey through the bands’ existence from the highs and lows of being a full time touring act and how being musicians have impacted their lives. Take a listen to the tracks here and dive into the world of an emerging group working to do what they do best, play music.
