Music Existence Because of Music, We Exist
Originally from the UK, production duo Astronaut have been picking up steam in the EDM scene over the past two years with several massive releases on Monstercat Records. Now based out of LA, the two make their Kannibalen Records debut with the Rockers EP, a two-track combo of hard-hitting electro.
Label heads BTSM lend a hand on the title track which starts off with a bubbling acid intro. Astronaut then jack up the energy with a rousing vocal sample before blowing the roof off with a scorching series of distorted bass lines and mindblowing synths.
For the B-side, aptly named “Bounce”, Astronaut bring in some throwback piano stabs to tease the dance floor then go all out with a jarring percussion-heavy drop.
