Aydrien’ Banks is an All American Christian Recording Artist, Actor, Director, Fitness Model, and Entrepreneur formally known as “Oneshot Bk Reppa!” While using the name Oneshot Bk Reppa he rose to fame and was managed by Busta Ryme’s manager. In late 2013 Oneshot Bk Reppa parted ways from “Busta Rymes manager” and changed his name to Aydrien’ Banks. Now Aydrien’ Banks is back with a new name.
The Interview With Aydrien’ Banks
Thank you for taking time out your busy Schedule to answer our questions! Thank you for having me !
Where were you born? I was born in Brooklyn New York.
What Projects are you currently working on? I’m currently working on my first studio album as “Aydrien’ Banks”, the album will be in stores everywhere. I’m having been indecisive about the name of the album. However I will be announcing it in the near future. I’m also working on my book entitled “I am Aydrien’ Banks” which tells my life story.
You seem to be very hardworking, Music, Fitness, public speaking, & directing films how do you balance it all? I like to stay busy, the more I do the better. I have always been extremely hands on since the early parts of my career. For me it’s not hard, the secret is to work on one project at a time and don’t stop until that project is completed. It’s a matter of staying focused and staying determined. I’m only 23 so I’m trying to do as much as I can while I’m young.
Since we are a Rock based blog tell us the name of a rock song that has influenced you? Funny you should ask, I’m a big fan of a Christian Rock star named “Lincoln Brewster”, he has a song called “Made New”. I remember when I heard it on the radio, I fell in love. That song still plays in my car, on high volume.
What do you want fans to take from your music? I want people to understand it’s okay to be different. We live in a world where everyone is trying to fit into a certain mold. People no longer have their own personality, and that’s not okay. My goal is to impact my generation, spread the love of Christ, and teach people what it means to be different. We only have one shot at life; we have to get it right the first time.
While most artists use many different directors what is it like directing your own music videos? It’s Unique, because I get to be hands on and control everything! It also teaches me how to be independent, it’s better to know how to do things for yourself rather than of having to rely on other to do it for you. It also keeps me in demand because I can offer my services to others.
Do you have any advice for your fans? First, Keep God first, it’s all about him we don’t wake yourself up in the morning he does. secondly, follow your dreams there are a lot of haters who get satisfaction out of stealing your dreams, so make sure you hold on to them tight.
