Following the success of 2012’s Epicloud, Devin Townsend released a special CD/DVD set, The Retinal Circus, in 2013, which featured a full choir and theatrical cast, visual and aural enhancements unlike any show Hevy Devy has done to date, several guest appearances, circus performances and more. This past May, Devin also self-released Casualties of Cool, an album that was crowd-funded by his hardcore fan-base, who pledged over 500% of the project’s goal.
