Car Party’s “Weekend” Single and Lyric Video Out Today Track Available Now On iTunes

After premiering the track on Idobi Radio’s The Gunz Show last week, Baltimore, MD pop rock outfit, Car Party have now released their new single “Weekend” on iTunes. The track was produced by Echodog Productions’ John Kendall Royston and Dan Mineart, former members of The Bigger Lights.

Car Party began their journey through a Craigslist ad posted by drummer, Taylor Hughes. Within the first 2 years of existence, Car Party released their debut EP, “Excuses” and a follow-up effort, “High & Low Places”. For the latter, the band teamed up with producer and friend, Ace Enders, of The Early November who was also featured on the single, “Please Me”. As credit to the band’s hard work, “High & Low Places” received a warm reception among fans and critics alike.

Car Party has appeared in such places as Alternative Press, Substream Music Press and Modern Drummer magazine. The band also performed at SXSW alongside Every Avenue, States and We Are The In Crowd and travelled the country on the Orange Amps/ Substream Tour as well as on tour in late 2012 with Every Avenue, Set It Off and Conditions.
